THE UNTAPPED STRENGTH OF AFRICA

This theory applies to all Africans based on historical facts, though it is still in its early development. Africa's diversity was a powerful hindrance to any ethnic group adopting a conquer-the-world mentality. However, if Africa had been able to address this problem, Africa would have been a part of the exceedingly mighty continents. So, ironically, Africa's diversity is its strength. In nearly every corner of the continent, the density of diversity is intense.

Below the Sahara, it would have been extremely difficult for any African ethnic group to defeat and conquer all the surrounding ethnic groups for a prolonged period. They would first have had to deal with the diversity issue. The crux of this is that Europeans, Asians and Middle Eastern states did not have to overcome the same concentration of density of diversity per square mile that African states below the Sahara had to deal with.

In the 15th Century, two Portuguese expeditions into West Africa were forced to abandon their mission because their African interpreters could not understand the languages of other Africans a short distance away. These African interpreters probably trained in several regional languages became ineffective in the same general region.

Nigeria is another West African region immersed in diversity. About 250 different languages are spoken, France is a bit smaller than Nigeria but it doesn't have such diversity. Nevertheless, Africa's diversity can still be tackled. This is not contending with the fact that Romans, Greeks, Arabs or Mongolians did not have to deal with the diversity. However, the depth of their diversity is not equated to any given African ethnic group.
